RIGHTS OF A LEADER IN ISLAM

                                                                      Whenever people come together, there is need to have a leader among them who will lead and direct their affairs (Abu Daawud). However, the following are some of the rights of a leader in ISLAM:(1) Patience with him(Bukhari and Muslim), (2) Praying for his guidance, not destruction (Abu Nu'aim), (3) Sincere advise in secret, and support in truth (Muslim), (4) Respect for him, and not to disparage him (Tirmidhi),and ( 5) Obedience except where commanded to do wrong (Nisaa, 4:59).

In my thought, if the "bill" is finally "signed" into law it will largely "checkmate" the "excesses" of "governors" and "moneybags" politicians who often denied "credible" candidates "tickets"in order to pave ways for their "anointed" ones no matter their weaknesses. Of the six alleged members of the drug cartel arrested in connection with planting of Tramadol in a bag bearing Zainab Habibu Aliyu's name, three were said to be "clearing agents", two were said to be staff of a"security company" and one a staff of an "airline handling company".
