THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW MILITARY BARRACKS BEGINS IN SOUTHERN KADUNA: THE MURDER OF LATE HON.(MAJOR) IBRAHIM ABDULLAHI ALONE GONIN GORA IN MY MIND!

Please Mr President and the Governor of Kaduna state forgive in this write ups if I sound like "OLIVER TWIST" who always ask for "MORE". As you plan to establish three Military Barracks,two in Southern Kaduna and one in Birnin Gwari, I therefore, "SUGGEST" or "REQUEST" that a Military Barracks or a Mobile Police force Barracks also needed to  be  established in Gonin Gora and Maraban Jos. Please come with me I will state " WHY".

Permit me to once again salute the efforts of president Buhari and our able and competent Governor Nasir Ahmad el- Rufa'i for taking a major as well as a long overdue step towards ending the Southern Kaduna crisis by setting up of Military Barracks in order to end the nearly forty years old ethno- religious crisis. From 1982 Kasuwan Magani,1987 Kafanchan, 1991 Zango- Kataf,1999 installation,2000 Sharia,2003 Mis World crises, 2011 Post elections violence and to several other skirmishes. It is highly regrettable that some opportunistic politicians are trying to politicize the crisis or to make it appear as if its starts yesterday.

Many security experts have been suggesting for the establishment of Military barracks on the one hand, as the solution of the crisis and the punishment of culprits on the other hand, all to no avail until now. Governor Nasir el-Rufa'i and the Chief of Army Staff, LT.Gen. Yusuf Tukur Buratai laid the foundation of Military barracks in Kachia yesterday being 4th February, 2017.

It worries scholars/students of peace and conflict studies that residential arrangements in Kaduna state dating back to the year 2000 is based on faith. I believe in peaceful co-existance between Muslims and Christian.The prophet of Islam(SAW) lived in Plural Madina of his time with Jews,Christians and Arab pegans. Everyone needs to read the Madina constitution drafted by the prophet of Islam in order to learn peaceful co-existance.

On GONIN GORA Military Barracks is simply because of the murder of then serving Federal House of Reps member from Zaria in the year 2000  alone Abuja GONIN GORA road perhaps due to his faith.Hon.(Major) Ibrahim Abdullahi (rtd) was allegedly murdered by the youth of the are.Also the Tijjaniya followers sometimes in 2012 or 2013 returning from annual Maulud in Niger state were allegedly murdered alone Abuja GONIN GORA road on the alleged reprisal attacks following the alleged Book Haram churches attacks in Zaria and Dirkaniya.

The youth of Maraban Jos allegedly too block road and attacked travellers based on their faith.let's all embrace peace and live peacefully with one another
