Senate Committee Chairman on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions

(1) He brought N3billion CBN intervention project to KASU to build Faculty of Engineering with the following Departments:
(a) Department of Communication Engineering 
(b) Department of Civil Engineering,
(c) Department of Chemical Engineering,
(d) Department of Mechanical Engineering, and
(e) Electrical Engineering,

(2) He brought NDIC intervention project that built:
(a) 110 Bed Hotels at Shehu Lawal Giwa Girls Secondary school, Giwa LG, and,
(b) 110 Bed Hotels at Government Science, Secondary School Birnin Gwari, Birnin Gwari LG,

(3) He brought NCC that built ICT complex in KASU

(4) He built ICT centre at Government Girls Secondary School, Kawo ,Kaduna North LG,

(5) He built ICT centre at Maimuna Gwarzo Government Girls Secondary School, U /Sanusi Kaduna South LG,

(6) He built ICT centre at Government Secondary School, Turunku Igabi LG

(7) He built ICT centre at Queen Amina Secondary School, Kaduna South LG,

(8) He built Maternity Hospital at Birnin Gwari 
LG,

(9) He built Skills acquisitions Centres at Nassarawa Kaduna South LG,

(10) He facilitated for the first time the CBN's Non- Interest Loan window,

(11) He facilitated the approval of CBN's N60 billion Non -Interest Loan,

(12) He secured jobs at both state and federal levels to several people,

(13) He paid WAEC,NECO to several indigent students,

(14) He gives Scholarship to hundreds of indigent students,

(15) Installed Solar panels to hundreds of Mosques, graves, and Schools,

(16) He sponsored 32 Bills as a Senator:

(a) 5 of the Bills have been passed already,
(b) 2 of the Bills have been signed by the president which no Senator of the 9th Senate achieve that fit,
(c) Rigasa Medical Centre Bill has been passed already awaiting presidential scent, and
(d) Giwa Federal College of Education Bill

These are the among the few projects I know.

In my thought, if the "bill" is finally "signed" into law it will largely "checkmate" the "excesses" of "governors" and "moneybags" politicians who often denied "credible" candidates "tickets"in order to pave ways for their "anointed" ones no matter their weaknesses. Of the six alleged members of the drug cartel arrested in connection with planting of Tramadol in a bag bearing Zainab Habibu Aliyu's name, three were said to be "clearing agents", two were said to be staff of a"security company" and one a staff of an "airline handling company".
