Good day Your Excellency sir,

I do hope that this letter will get to you sir through the powers of both social and conventional media. Sir, you should and or must investigate with immediate effect what is happing between Professor Usman Yusuf, the Executive Secretary, NHIS and your Minister of Health Professor Isaac Adewole in the interest of justice, fair- play, transparency and good governance. Sir, I refer you to Daily Trust publication of July 8 and 10,2017 for more insides into the ongoing media war on the matter.

There are allegations and counter allegations of mind-boggling corruption between the camps of NHIS boss and that of the Minister of Health. The allegations have seized a sizeable space on both social and conventional media. The image of your government, in my view, has been put to test. Sir, you should and or must save the image of your government. We expect proper investigation on same. Sir, either the minister or NHIS boss must be shown the way out after proper investigation for Nigerians to take the anti-corruption war you are fighting very seriously.

I have no doubt whatsoever that you are an anti- corruption team player. In fact you are the supporting striker who is expected to strike alongside the point man. As you know too well, President Buhari has a lot of trust and confidence in you. Sir, I want to believe that you are trying your best to keep same. The President Buhari we all know trusts people a lot, but once he finds it to be unkept it is difficult if not impossible to get his trust back again. You are also very much aware that the number one priority of the President Buhari's administration is anti-corruption.

Permit me to state why you have to take the issue very seriously. In my understanding, the issue between the two public officers is a clear case of allegations of corruption, but you can be rest assured that it has assumed ethno-religious dimension among Nigerians, in view of the fact that, the Minister is a Yoruba Christian from the South and the NHIS boss is a Hausa-Fulani Muslim from the North. Sir, permit me to also add that this issue will be among the issues that those who have been trying hard to fix you with your boss will report you for as soon as he comes back soon, God's willing.

In my humble suggestion, if at the end of your honest investigation, the NHIS boss is at fault he should be severely dealt with to serve as a deterrent to the officials of this government. However, if turns out to be that the NHIS boss is on the right course, the minister should be shown the way out and NHIS boss should be made the minister of Health immediately.

It is a very serious allegation that should not and or must not be swept under the carpet. Sir, may you have the courage to do the right thing on it.

Accept my very best wishes.Regards! May God bless Nigeria!
