Please let us talk about Economics not "emotions" or "conjecture". It is important to note that, the private sector is the driver of modern economy from USA, India, Saudi Arabia, Russia to China etc. This is my little reply to a critic of Dangote group who I understand does not speak economics at all.

(1) Through the effort of Dangote group and others Nigeria do not longer import cement which saves us billions of dollars. Imagine the benefits of having other businessmen that will focus on other products,

(2) Dangote group Is the second-largest employer of labour in Nigeria after Government,

(3) Dangote group Is the highest tax-payer in the country,

(4) I hope you know what Executive Order 7 is all about? Through this Executive Order the group is spending billions of naira on public infrastructure in Nigeria,

(5) The group is the second-largest contributor to University Education in Nigeria after government. He spent billions of naira on Aliko Dangote Business School, BUK, ABU, Otuoke Universities. University of Nigeria Nsukka, University of Port Harcourt Crescent University, Katsina State University. Dangote Hostels ABU, BUK, University of Ibadan.

(6) The group's world largest refinary coming up next year will end refine petroleum importation in Nigeria which will increase the value of Naira against dollars and boost our foreign reserves,

(7) The group's Fertilizer plant will saves us a lot of dollars for Fertilizer importation which will help the value of Naira against dollars and boost our foreign reserves,

(8) The group's Petro- chemical plant will saves us billions of dollars on Petro-chemical importation and boost our foreign reserves,

(9) With group Refinary, Fertilizer, and Petro-chemical plants coming up next year he will soon start selling dollars which will save the value of Naira against dollars.

(10) Youth Empowerment:

Dangote Academy located in Kogi State has Graduate Engineer Training Scheme, Junior Technician Training Scheme and Vocational Training Scheme.

(11) Security sector:

In 2018 Dangote group donated 150 GAC saloon fully kitted operational cars to the Nigeria Police Force in order to help boost their operational efficiency. The single biggest number of operational vehicles ever donated to the law enforcement agency by a private organisation. Dangote group had once made a N50 million donation to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, and built Police Intelligence Hostel Complex in Kwara State.

(12) Economic Empowerment:

The Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) disbursed billions of naira to women and youths across Kano, Jigawa, Kogi, Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, Lagos, Niger, Nasarawa, Sokoto and Katsina, Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Edo, Rivers, Anambra, Ebonyi and Bauchi states etc as part of its Nationwide microgrant programme. The release noted that the Foundation has concluded plans to extend the disbursement of the micro grant program to Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Edo, Rivers, Anambra, Ebonyi and Bauchi states as part of the next phase of the programme.

(13) Health sector contributions:

The group in partnerships with Bill and Melinda Gates foundation are the major donors to eradication of Polio and routine immunization in Nigeria from 2013 to-date. Aliko Dangote Foundation is committed to directly reaching one million households with community-based management of acute malnutrition, which provides access to improved water and sanitation, improved behavioural change, livelihood support, strengthening locals and the national health system as well as global advocacy by 2025.

(15) Dangote’s humanitarian services:

He has been spending billions of naira on our unfortunate annual Flood disaster with the biggest in 2011where gave N2.5b donations to flood victims. Dangote Foundation has been providing food items worth Nbillions to support the IDPs in the state. The food items include: Rice, Spaghetti, Sugar, Salt, Millet, Maize, Noodles, Semolina and Wheat Meal.

(16) Housing Units to IDPs:

Dangote group spent N2billion for 200 housing units with school, hospital, irrigation farms and poultry farms built for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. And also gave each of the beneficiary N100,000 to start a new life.

But, however, like "Oliver Twist" we are still asking for more from Dangote group. Imagine having hundreds of Dangote group in Nigerian Economy?

May God bless Nigeria!
