Fidel Castro was largely influence by the revolutionary thought of Karl Mark which is Socialism and by extension Communism. The Political cum Economic Ideology of  Communism was a"dream" or an aspiration by Karl Mark a German Philosopher. Karl's method of analysis was "historical" and "dialectical" materialism.Karl Marx a German Philosopher lived and died in the capitalist Europe. Karl Marx neither witness Socialists nor Communist State.

Karl Marx's theses was against the "industrialists" (the Bourgeoisies or capitalists) whom he said appropriated surplus in production process against the "Proletariant" (the masses). He was the advocate of the working class. He preached about  egalitarianism(equality). He preached a "classless" and a stateless society. Karl Marx sought for a society in which neither the "class" of the "haves"(the Rich) nor the "class" of the "have not" (the poor) will exist (paradise on earth).

Karl Marx argued that "Communism"(Yet to see one in human history) is the highest stage of" human development" where "classes" among individuals do not exist and "resources" are allocated from each according to his "need" and to each according to his "contributions" (One wonders whether this is not a class difference! ). However, the concept of communism which, in my humble opinion, is a"mirage" had since been declared by Scholars as "Utopian" idea.                  

Socialists theories seem more convincing to the "masses" because the theories talk about "paradise" on "earth", "egalitarianism ", state of superabundance, a perfect arrangement free of exploitation, a " classless" society and a society where everything is "perfect". Is it possible? What an illusion! Karl Marx theorized" heaven" on earth. Is it possible? Socialism in my understanding is just like teaching your "child" how to eat "Fish" rather than how to catch a "Fish". Socialism by its principles which states from each according to his "need" and to each according to his "contributions"! You work in the morning and you sleep in the afternoon the society will do everything for you. This according to some scholars it encourages laziness! The argument of socialism appears" NICE" , but in my understanding, it is practically unrealistic.

Our unionists, comrades and the academics who had had enough taught, "theses" and "theorists" on socialism are still holding onto those ideas which are very good in theory, but hardly practicable. The theories of socialism appeared very attractive to the masses, but unfortunately, those ideas are "Utopian". However, some of our academics who have held "socialism" so "dear"especially during the" heigh" of the Cold War Era where the world was ideologically divided into camps, namely , capitalists and the Socialists camps (Western bloc and the Eastern bloc) are still holding those imaginary ideas so sacrosanct. The practical really has since shown the "superiority" of free market economy as against socialism.

I employ the "believers" of Socialists ideology among our politicians, academics, unionists, graduates, and comrades to "update" their knowledge on the new economies of China, Russia and Cuba etc. These countries have since embraced the elements of market economy. Capitalism proves to be more resilience than the socialist ideology. Capitalism offers more options during economic crisis. Socialism thrives only during economic stability(boom). Capitalism thrives during both crisis and boom periods.

I believe in Welfare Capitalism! I believe in open competition! I believe in market economy! I believe in hard working which the market economy preaches! I believe in market choices which the free market economy offers!
