WORLD TEACHERS' DAY: TEACHERS NEED THEIR REWARD ON EARTH                               By:               Nurudeen Dauda               5th October, 2026. nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com nurudeendauda24@gmail.com  nurudeendauda.blogspot.com To start with, in Nigeria there is a popular saying which states that teachers' reward is in the heaven. This literarily means that no matter the amount of money one pays to a teacher it will never be enough as compensation to a teacher when compares with the value of the services he or she renders to your child or children.  In my view, teachers should be paid as much as bankers in order to attract the best brains into the profession. They deserve to be well compensated. In deed , teachers deserve their rewards both "here" on earth and in the "hereafter". It is sad to note that, the welfare of the Ni...

NIGERIA@66: WHICH WAY FORWARD?                                 By:                  Nurudeen Dauda                  1st October, 2026  nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com nurudeendauda24@gmail.com nurudeendauda.blogspot.com To begin with, today marks an additional year for our dear country, in my view, a day like this should be a day for "sober reflection" instead of a day for "celebration" and or a day for "merriment". Permit me to say as a country and as a people let us "reflect" on the journey thus far and see where we have gone wrong and make "amends" and or "retrace" our steps. Certainly things are not really well. At sixty - six years of independence of our dear country we are certainly not at "where" we should be in view of our both abundant human and natural resources. Basic needs is still a major problem to the grea...

EMIRS' SANUSI II VS AMINU ADO BAYERO'S POWER TUSSLE: IS ANY SOLUTION IN SIGHT?                            By:                 Nurudeen Dauda                29th September, 2026 nurudeendauda24@gmail.com  nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com  nurudeendauda.blogspot.com To start with, the present "power tussle" on Kano emir's throne has lingered too much because of the politics involve in the tussle through both visible and invisible hands from within and outside Kano State. It is obvious that Kwankwaso vs Ganduje political rivalry is at the center of it from the onset. The Kano APC vs NNPP's politics sustains the tussle for a while.   Soon after the defection of Governor Yusuf many people thought the tussle will soon be over. Even more so, the commissioner of information of Kano State has earlier on hinted that following the defect...

THE POLITICS OF CNG BUSES                             By:              Nurudeen Dauda             19th September,2026 nurudeendauda24@gmail.com  nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com To begin with, the federal government has just announced its plans to provide a cheaper transportation system for commuters in collaboration with the Nigerian Governors' Forum using the Compress Natural Gas (CNG) Buses across the country from 1st October, 2026 as a counter reaction to the campaign promise made by the former Vice President Alh. Atiku Abubakar to restore a targeted fuel subsidy if elected in 2027. We really need a healthy political opposition in order to keep the government on its toes. So, commuters in Nigeria can now get cheaper transport fares? But why now? Courtesy of healthy political opposition. But food inflation is now a major issue as a result of fuel subsid...

EL-RUFA'I RAISED IGR FROM N11BN IN 2014 TO N58.09BN IN 2022                                         By:                          Nurudeen Dauda                          15th May, 2023 nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com nurudeendauda24@gmail.com nurudeendauda.blogspot.com  To start with, it is sad to note that about 98% of our state governments including the so-called oil producing states rely on monthly revenue from Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for their basic survivals. It worries me to note that out of all the 36 states of the federation only Lagos can shoulder its monthly "personnel" and "overhead"costs without recourse to FAAC. Many states have more than 75% reliance on their entire annual budget on FAAC. It is an economic "suicide" for us to con...

97 COMPANIES/INVESTORS BROUGHT TO KADUNA STATE BY EL-RUFA'I                                 By:                     Nurudeen Dauda                     May 17th, 2023 nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com nurudeendauda24@gmail.com To begin with, for us to "solve" or "manage" the problem of insecurity in our dear country we must create "jobs" to our teeming unemployed youth. In my thought, the "best" way to create "jobs" and generate more "revenue" are through both "local" and "foreign" "investments" in the various sectors of our economy. The role of governments in modern economies from America, EU, UK, Russia, India, and to China are "attracting" and "empowering" "investors" with favourable government policies in order to create "jobs" to their citizens. The responsibilities of modern governments from America, EU, UK, ...

SHEIKH GUMI'S WHERE I STAND NOW IN ARABIC TEXT                                By:                Nurudeen Dauda                6th September, 2025 nurudeendauda24@yahoo.com nurudeendauda24@gmail.com nurudeendauda.blogspot.com Permit me to "comment" Sheikh (Dr) Ibrahim Jalo Jalingo for translating this very important book written in 1992 by Late Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi called "Where I Stand" (English version) and "Manufata" (Hausa version) which is already in circulation in both English and Hausaa Languages to now an Arabic version. Sheikh Jalingo has  also converted AL’AKIDATUS SAHIHA, AHALARI, IZZIYYA, RISALA and ISHMAWI from written texts to Poetry. These works of translation and Poetry by Sheikh Jalingo will surely expand readership and knowledge of these books. May the Almighty Allah bless Sheikh Jalingo and professo...
